Starting a Tradition of Student Leadership.
The Campus Awareness+Compliance Initiative (CACI), is a MAVIN Foundation project with Level Playing Field Institute. CACI seeks to support the full inclusion of mixed race and transracially adopted students at U.S. colleges and universities. We followed up on the success of our inaugural year with the 2nd annual Mixed Heritage Student Leadership Retreat at beautiful Mt. Rainier National Park. Students from across the nation engaged in a four-day exploration of mixed heritage issues via workshops, conversation and a group hike!
