Cultivating Student Leadership.
The Campus Awareness+Compliance Initiative (CACI), is a MAVIN Foundation project with Level Playing Field Institute. CACI seeks to support the full inclusion of mixed race and transracially adopted students at U.S. colleges and universities. We achieve this mission through trainings, resources, activist opportunities and research. We kicked off our 2004 pilot year with a student leadership retreat in beautiful Kingston, WA. Twelve members from our two pilot schools (Stanford University and the University of Washington) participated in a three-day training and brainstorming retreat!
